Hello, My name is sarah Davis
My role as a postpartum doula is not only to support the Mother and baby but the whole family. Baby is a new cog in the working unit of your family and this affects each moving part. My purpose is to be N.E.A.R your family; to Nurture, Educate, Assess and Refer. I will provide support and resources wherever it may be needed. The aid I provide is fluid, adjusting to the needs of each family I serve. The reassurance, guidance and resources I will provide you with will help reduce stress and give you courage to parent during this vulnerable period. I also vow to respect the values and traditions of your home as we work together to make bringing baby home a joyful transition.
Get to know me
I was born in Olympia, WA and have lived most of my life in the Northwest. I absolutely love it. Living in Washington’s lush, vibrant nature helps me feel connected to our flawlessly created earth. My extended family is also in the Northwest and so shall my heart always be. I live in Covington, WA with my dear husband, and three beautiful, busy children. I believe the collection of experiences I have had in my life’s journey has led me to the work of a postpartum doula. If each family was given unconditional care and support from the moment it begins to grow, there would be a brighter strength in our society. I deeply care for each growing family and have an eagerness to listen and learn from all of the clients I am blessed to serve. Successful support begins with you being heard. I look forward to hearing you.
love
Family, sketching, my dog and cat, cooking, baking, eating, sewing, kickboxing, hiking, backpacking, coffee & tea, spending time with my fun husband, deep breathing in the fresh air, encouraging the individuals whom my children are becoming, kindness to all people, singing & praying to the Creator.
don’t love
Orange pulp, sour candy, scuba diving, squeaking or beeping of any kind, pens with no ink, shoes scattered in my walk way, mistreatment of people and animals, litter and closed mindedness.
